A Year of Major Changes

Can't believe its been nearly a year since I blogged. It has definitely been a year of changes! As many of you know, I lost my beloved husband, Dennis to cancer in July 2017.

My kids came to Idaho to help me go through things and take care of all the things relating to his estate. They spent 10 days with me and believe me, during that time they were a God send.

In September, I went to spend a couple of weeks with my BFFs in Delaware. Needed to get my head together and figure out what to do next. Had a wonderful time with the people I have been friends with since we were children! Helped immensely.

Decided to put my house in Idaho on the market this spring and move to Tucson. I'm really not a desert person, but my daughter lives here. She and my son said I needed to move close to one of them and since my son lives in CA, that was a big fat NO!

So in October, I left my beautiful home in God's country and traveled to my son's to visit for a week, then came to Tucson. I moved in with my daughter and son-in-law. And their youngest (16), and their middle (25), her finance and their 2 babies (18 months and newborn). And, 3 dogs! It was a zoo, but also fun.

In November, I went to the SU! OnStage event in Salt Lake City. Spent some time with my stamping friends. I needed that, too. Although I haven't put ink to stamp since then. But, I did close on a new home here in the Tucson area (Vail, AZ) in December. It's going to have a dedicated stamp room and a dedicated stamp classroom, so hopefully with the new catalog, I can kick start my business.

In March, my daughter and I drove to Idaho to put the house on the market (thought I'd waited long enough for the snow to melt...nope!) But it is listed and I'm hoping that it will sell soon. Paying 2 mortgages is not fun.

If anyone wants to come and visit me in the desert, the new house has the stamp room, the classroom, a guest room and an exercise room as well as the master bedroom. Since bringing Harley here, he has adjusted much better than me. The heat is already getting to me, so I'll be spending tons of time in the stamp room.

I am hoping to start blogging on a regular basis (maybe once a week) to showcase some of the fun things you can purchase from the catalog. If you'd like one, please let me know and I will make sure to get one off to you. Or you can click on the catalog in the side bar and download it.

Thank you all for understanding that I didn't forget you all, just a year of MAJOR CHANGES.
