Business Challenge

Isn't it funny how the person who assigned the challenge is always the last to complete it??
My name is Denise and my stamping style includes color and dimension - I love to stamp and cut or punch out images to layer onto the front of my cards. This is one of my favorite cards that I demonstrated at a stamp class a few months ago. The materials I used include: Petal Pizzazz stamp set; Old Olive and Whisper White cardstock; Old Olive, Cameo Coral, and Ruby Red stamp pads; two large half pearls from the Pretties Kit; Scallop Circle and Eyelet Border punches. (My bad.... I forget the name of the DSP paper I used!)

Business Challenge

As you know our Business Challenge this month is to post an item that reflects our individual style. I tend to follow the K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Stamper) method of creating. A little drama and a lot of fun.

I used the Inspired by Nature stamp set, Chocolate Chip card stock, ink, and ribbon. Also used Whisper White card stock and large brad (yes, that is white not vanilla).

CYRious Stampers April Business Challenge

Our April Business Challenge from Denise was to make an item that best describes our 'style' and to upload it to the blog. This is my card (sorry for the quality..the scanner didn't like the brad!):

I would describe my 'style' as Clean & Simple, with a little bling sometimes. I love these two In Colors and have not made a card using them together until now. I'm usually a Soft Subtles kind of person. Here's the recipe:
Bermuda Bay card stock for the base, Melon Mambo for the next layer and Bermuda Bay Patterns DSP for the layer that is punched with the new Scallop Trim punch. I used Upsy Daisy for the stamping. I used Bermuda Bay dotted grosgrain ribbon and put a designer brad in the middle.
