You Could be SU!'s next Stamp Designer!

Stampin' Up! has created a way for you to help design and choose new stamp sets - In with You (beta program). The In with You program is currently open to anyone (demonstrators, customers, etc.). So spread the word!

Once you join our In with You online community, you can submit your original artwork for stamp set challenges, vote and comment on other people's submissions, earn badges, and interact with others in the community. We will produce and sell one or more stamp sets from among the top-voted submissions in each challenge. Plus there are fabulous prizes for top designs.

Here's the scoop on the first challenge:

Contest dates: June 17-July 15, 2013
Submit ideas early so you have plenty of time to gather support for your work (you know-get your friends to vote for your design).

Contest theme: Monsters, Zombies, Creatures with Horns
They say, "Be careful what you ask for." We say, "Whatevs!" We're looking for the best monster images for cards, scrapbook pages, and other craft projects. Show us your best hair-raising, spine-chilling, terrifying creatures. Or maybe you're more comfortable with monsters and creatures in the cute category. We like those too! So muster your courage and submit five to ten images of your original artwork.

Prizes*:  1^st place: $200 us/$200 can · 2^nd place: $150 us/$150 can · 3^rd place: $100 us/$100 can*Winners determined by number of votes

Your images may be our next great stamp set! We can't wait to see your designs!

June Shoebox Swap

Finally getting around to posting the June Shoebox Swaps. We were a small group this time, (only Marylou, Marilyn and myself) seems the summer brings lots of happenings for everyone. Our theme this month was Manly Cards. Seems we all struggle with those.

 I am busy making swaps and getting ready for convention next month. I have 75 swaps completed and some other projects, but still have several to complete. I won't be sharing any of these until I'm gone to convention. Don't want any of our group to happen on to what I've been up to. But, beginning July 17, there will be a post a day while I'm away and then I'll share convention news when I return.
